Cindy Winchell

Cindy Winchell began her career as a Recruiter/Employment Counselor in 1979 at Snelling & Snelling of Newark where she specialized in the placement of upper level Administrative personnel. She was the recipient of several National Achievement awards. From Snelling & Snelling, Ms. Winchell moved to the Human Resource department at AIG where she handled every aspect of Human Resources from interviewing perspective employees to conducting exit interviews. Among her special “projects”, Ms. Winchell coordinated the physical relocation of 350+ employees from the New York office to the East Orange, New Jersey office. From AIG Ms. Winchell became the Manager at Western Temporary Services where she handled the day-to-day operations of the office including monthly sales analysis, quarterly income/expense reports and solicitation of new business.
She was forced to resign this position due to a severe auto accident, which required months of rehabilitation. Ms. Winchell became the Senior recruiting Specialist/Office Manager when she reentered the workforce with Acme Employment Service. In this position she handled the placement of upper level Legal, Insurance and Accounting personnel, conducting extensive marketing, sales and career counseling duties. Ms. Winchell was responsible for establishing and developing this area of recruitment for Acme with billing exceeding $350,000.
In 1992, Ms Winchell utilized her extensive experience to open C. Winchell Agency with backing and support of her husband Chuck. After his sudden death in 2006, Cindy continued the management of C. Winchell Agency with a renewed commitment for the continued success of the agency. Since that time, the agency has successfully handled the placement of hundreds of Insurance professionals from Administrative Assistants to CEOs. C. Winchell Agency currently employs 7 Recruiters and 4 Administrative Assistants, which handle the placement of Insurance professionals nationwide.

Aaron Winchell

After graduating college with a Bachelor's Degree in 1994, Aaron began his insurance career in Underwriting with Greater New York Insurance, moving on to Kemper Insurance and Tower Insurance Group. He joined “the family business” here at C. Winchell Agency in 2000. With the untimely passing of Chuck Winchell our Executive Vice President in late 2006, Aaron stepped into his father’s role and became responsible for all of our accounting, financial, Human Resources and benefits administration issues.

Cassandra Banko

Cassandra Banko holds the distinction of being the longest tenured employee of C. Winchell Agency. She began her career with the agency developing the Accounting/Financial and Reinsurance areas, which she maintains to date. She handled the placement of candidates in the Tri State area so successfully that she has held the title of Outstanding Sales Performer for the agency for 13 of her 15 years. Cassandra progressed within the agency from recruiter to Senior Recruiting Manager, mentoring new recruiters and assisting with the daily operations of the office. During her tenure with the agency, Cassandra has placed over 300 candidates with total salaries exceeding $16,200,000 with Property, Casualty, Life, Health and Reinsurance client companies. Cassandra currently holds the title of Recruiting Operations Manager. Cassandra has recently been promoted to Vice President of the company.

Scott Fuller

Scott began his career in Human Resource Management after earning a certification through SHIRM, (Society for Human Resource Management). He applied his expertise with global companies such as General Electric, Heinz Foods, and Star-Kist International. While with GE he branched out into Training and Development and went on to obtain Training certifications through Cornell University, DDI (Development Dimensions International), and Zenger Miller/ Achieve Global. One of his many training accomplishments included co-authoring a Personal Development/ Leadership program. Scott then went on to deliver and teach this program to over three hundred Supervisors, Managers and VP level employees. Scott also was involved in staffing positions that included everything from entry level to executive level positions. With the Heinz Corporation he was involved in a division staffing project that saw more than one hundred employees hired and involved reviewing over eight hundred applicants. Scott then went on to hone his skills in Marketing and Sales. He worked in Internet based marketing, on- site merchandise training, and sales management. When Scott came to C.Winchell he blended his Human Resource background with his marketing skills and achieved success, He has established great relationships with both clients and candidates. Having placed candidates in at least 60 positions with more than 45 different companies, Scott is very proud of his ability to establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with everyone he works with.

Jen Roddy

Jen began her career at C. Winchell Agency in the Administrative area where she became the Executive Assistant to the President. In 2009, Jen was promoted to the Recruiting Specialist handling Auto, Workers Compensation and Property Claims in the Tri State area which she quickly expanded nationwide. Jen has developed and maintained relationships with several of the agency’s largest client companies. In her relatively short recruiting career Jen has placed 26 professionals, with salaries totaling in excess of $1,538,500.00.
Prior to coming to C. Winchell Agency, Jen worked for Comair Delta Connection as a Customer Service Agent where she developed her service skills in time sensitive and high-pressure situations related to air travel.

Heidi Daley

Heidi Daley finds being an Insurance Recruiter for C. Winchell Agency very rewarding, matching the best candidates to upstanding agencies in need of a reliable, responsible employee. She has been the owner of a small business herself and knows the value of a good employee. Prior to recruiting, Heidi was a Sales Representative at Liberty Medical Supply. Other sales experience included real estate with Coldwell Banker. Heidi attended Millersville University in Pennsylvania. The past year has been very successful for Ms. Daley working the Commercial & Personal Lines and Life & Health Lines Agency/Broker desk, placing over $760,000 worth of economic growth in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.

Barbara has worked her way up through the ranks at C. Winchell Agency since beginning her career here in 1999. She has progressed from Administrative Manager to the Manager of Administration & Operations. Barbara’s newest endeavor is the position of Agency/Broker Recruiting Specialist handling the placement of Insurance professionals in the New York territory. In addition, Barbara also maintains the computer systems at C. Winchell Agency, ensuring state of the art tools for the recruiting staff to utilize in the placement of candidates.

Geri Moyer

Geri joined C. Winchell Agency in January of 2000 as our receptionist. Her 20 years of previous customer service experience helped her to quickly climb the ranks of our administration/operations department and in 2006 she was promoted to Administration Team Leader. She has excelled in her new position and was once again promoted in 2007 to Assistant Manager of Administration and Operations. Her responsibilities include the oversight of the Administrative Department as well as creating and maintaining all of our databases. She is also the “point-person” for all of the agency’s “special projects”. Geri can “do it all” and that is a rare employee!

Since opening the Agency, we have placed individuals in P&C positions at more than 500 client companies, including many of the largest national P&C insurers and their subsidiaries, a large number of domestic and international reinsurers as well as the top national brokers, large-mid sized regional brokers as well as many, "main street" agencies. Our client base also includes the most well-known claim service/TPA's and large self insured corporations for in-house claims and risk management personnel.
You will note that the majority of the experience of our employees is insurance-related, and our recruiting firm does not become involved in any other field. Within the insurance industry, we handle Underwriters, Claim Professionals, Accountants, Agency Account Representatives, Programmers & System Analysts, Human Resources, Reinsurance and all other areas of Operations, Product Development, Marketing & Support as well as Life, Health and Benefits.
We would like to point out that we are not "head hunters". We do not "raid" client companies. Rather, we rely on advertising, referrals, the Internet through various search engines, along with current applicants to locate appropriate candidates for our client companies. All such candidates are interviewed extensively and we do not refer candidates unless we believe they truly "fit" the position in question. We will also do reference checks whenever requested by a client to do so. We do not, however, do credit or criminal checks.
